3/4 Cup
Sugar - Dark Brown
5 Tbsp
Brandy
1/4 tsp
Nutmeg - Ground
Brandy Butter

Brandy Butter is traditionally served with Christmas Pudding or Mince Pies.  It is very rich and a little goes a long way. Brandy butter will keep for several weeks in the refrigerator.

  1. Warm the butter slightly to soften
  2. Cream the butter and sugar until smooth
  3. Gradually stir in the brandy then add the nutmeg
  4. Beat thoroughly then transfer the mixture to a dish or small pot
  5. Cover and allow to harden before serving
