Liver and Giblets of 1 chicken
1 1/2 Cup
Water
4 tsp
Lemon Juice
1 Individual
Anchovy Fillets
1 Cup
Cream - Heavy Whipping
1 Pinch
Pepper - Ground White
Hannover Sauce

Serve this sauce with Roast Chicken, using the liver and giblets to make the sauce

  1. Clean and trim the chicken liver then place it in a saucepan with the giblets
  2. Add the water and simmer for 20 minutes
  3. Remove the liver and puree it with the lemon juice, anchovy fillet and cream
  4. Reheat then season to taste with salt and pepper but be very careful not to over salt as the anchovy will have already made it quite salty
