Fruit Jam - Strawberry is delicious!
1 1/4 Cup
Orange Juice - Freshly Squeezed
1 Tbsp
Arrowroot
3 Tbsp
Lemon Juice
Jam Sauce

Hot and Sticky, this sauce should be served with steamed puddings such as Jam Roly-Poly or Spotted Dick

  1. Heat the jam and orange juice together in a saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes
  2. Blend the arrowroot with a little cold water and stir in a few tablespoons of the jam sauce
  3. Pour this mixture into the rest of the jam sauce then bring to a boil while stirring continuously until the sauce thickens.
  4. Add the lemon juice just before serving.
