A quick, simple Welsh dish which you’ll find remarkably delicious
- Clean the leeks by washing them under water and cutting away both the roots and tops of the green leaves
- Plunge the leeks into a pan of boiling water and boil for 10 minutes
- Before removing, test to make sure they are cooked by piercing with a knife
- Drain and place in a serving dish
- Melt the butter in a separate pa then cook it until it sizzles and turns golden brown
- Add the breadcrumbs, lemon juice, and salt then pour over the leeks
