Meatloaf

The Armer-Family Meatloaf recipe… especially good baked in a wood fired oven but still delicious made in the kitchen.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees before starting this recipe 🙂

  1. Beat the 2 Eggs in a large mixing bowl
  2. Finely Chop the Onion and add to the bowl
  3. Add all other ingredients except for the glaze ingredients (Ketchup, Brown Sugar & Mustard which should be kept separate for now) then mix with your fingers to combine well but don't overdo it as it will ruin the meatloaf texture
  4. Make the glaze in a seperate, small bowl (Combine Ketchup, Brown Sugar & Mustard & mix until sugar dissolves)
  5. Grease a 2lb loaf pan then add the meat mixture
  6. Brush half the Glaze mix on top of the meatloaf when it is in the loaf pan - Reserve the rest for serving time
  7. Bake the Meatloaf at 350 degrees for 75-90 minutes
  8. Let Cool for a few minutes then server with the remaining glaze
