The Armer-Family Meatloaf recipe… especially good baked in a wood fired oven but still delicious made in the kitchen.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees before starting this recipe 🙂
- Beat the 2 Eggs in a large mixing bowl
- Finely Chop the Onion and add to the bowl
- Add all other ingredients except for the glaze ingredients (Ketchup, Brown Sugar & Mustard which should be kept separate for now) then mix with your fingers to combine well but don't overdo it as it will ruin the meatloaf texture
- Make the glaze in a seperate, small bowl (Combine Ketchup, Brown Sugar & Mustard & mix until sugar dissolves)
- Grease a 2lb loaf pan then add the meat mixture
- Brush half the Glaze mix on top of the meatloaf when it is in the loaf pan - Reserve the rest for serving time
- Bake the Meatloaf at 350 degrees for 75-90 minutes
- Let Cool for a few minutes then server with the remaining glaze
