- Thin cut Steak (Rump, Ribeye, NY etc... about 6oz each)
- 2 Cup
- Mushrooms - White

Scotch Collops are a traditional Scottish dish traditionally served garnished with thin toast and mashed potato.
A collop is a slice of meat, according to one definition in the Oxford English Dictionary.
- Finely chop the onions
- Finely slice the mushrooms
- Heat the butter and oil in a pan and saute the onions until they are golden brown then remove from the heat and set aside.
- Brown the steaks for 2 minutes each side and place on top of the onions in a warmed serving dish.
- Season with salt and pepper
- Saute the mushrooms for 3 minutes, season with salt and pepper then spoon them over the steak and serve.
