Olive Oil
2 Tbsp
Lime Juice
1/4 tsp
Cayenne Pepper
1/2 tsp
Basil - Dried
1/4 tsp
Coriander - Ground
Shrimp Paste

Shrimp Paste is easy to make and wonderful spread on crackers or toast as an appetizer.

  1. Peel and de-vein the shrimp
  2. Mash the shrimp into a paste or puree in a blender.
  3. Gradually add the olive oil.
  4. Season with the lime juice, cayenne pepper, basil and coriander
  5. Add salt to taste.
  6. Place in a small jar or dish, cover and refrigerate for several hours to set.
