- 3 Tbsp
- Anchovy Paste
- 1/2 Cup
- Cream - Heavy Whipping
Before making this sauce you will first need to make the Basic White Sauce.
Anchovy Sauce is wonderful with any kind of poached white fish.
- Prepare the Basic White Sauce
- In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over a low heat
- Add the anchovy paste and mix well
- Gradually add the white sauce and cream
- Simmer for 10 minutes over a low heat
- Season to taste with salt and white pepper then server
