Anchovy Sauce

Before making this sauce you will first need to make the Basic White Sauce.

Anchovy Sauce is wonderful with any kind of poached white fish.

  1. Prepare the Basic White Sauce
  2. In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over a low heat
  3. Add the anchovy paste and mix well
  4. Gradually add the white sauce and cream
  5. Simmer for 10 minutes over a low heat
  6. Season to taste with salt and white pepper then server
