Cream - Heavy Whipping
Stilton Sauce

The perfect sauce to go with grilled Plaice or Flounder, or drizzle on your perfectly cooked steak. While not in the recipe, a spash of port or white wine in the sauce adds a lovely twist.

To make this sauce you will first need to make the Basic White Sauce

  1. Make Basic White Sauce
  2. Crumble the stilton into small pieces and add them to the basic sauce
  3. Stir the sauce over a low heat until all the cheese has completely melted
  4. Add the cream and season to taste with salt and pepper
