The perfect sauce to go with grilled Plaice or Flounder, or drizzle on your perfectly cooked steak. While not in the recipe, a spash of port or white wine in the sauce adds a lovely twist.
To make this sauce you will first need to make the Basic White Sauce
- Make Basic White Sauce
- Crumble the stilton into small pieces and add them to the basic sauce
- Stir the sauce over a low heat until all the cheese has completely melted
- Add the cream and season to taste with salt and pepper
